Hi I’m Lauren 👋🏼
I am a Experience Strategist and Design Leader with fifteen years of experience defining, designing and launching compelling digital products that meet both user and business needs. Currently, I work at the NFL designing fan-first football experiences for app, web, connected TV and more.
I think, explain, collaborate & create visually.
Whether it's a Google Doc, Figma, Miro, white board, post it notes, paper, a deck or a working prototype — I like to see things to solve them & communicate them to others.
I bring a hybrid skillset as a strategic problem solver with a design background.
I began my career in design and UX before transitioning to experience strategy and design leadership.
My skills (and passion) sit at a cross section of unpacking & understanding complex challenges to determine what we should make and why.
I have a range of experience across clients, industries, projects & teams.
I’ve brought new brands and products to life, evolved and optimized existing products, set and executed future visions, led multiple full scale 0 to 1 redesigns, and managed ongoing product design systems.
I am an experienced manager, team & project leader.
I have led teams large & small, managing the strategy, UX, design, and end to end product development collaboration on a wide range of projects as well as leading strategy and design departments from 5-25+.
Config2025 Speaker
After spending nearly two years redesigning and rebuilding the NFL Mobile App, I got a chance to speak at Config in SF alongside my colleague and friend Arjun Kalyanpur, representing the Code and Theory team who partnered with the NFL on the redesign.
We talked about the landscape that led to the redesign and then walked through the behind the scenes complexity of a data-powered, contextual media / DTC / video / stats product and how we brought it to life. You can catch our talk on YouTube here 👉🏼
