NFL Mobile App

I led a total redesign & rebuild in 2022 of the league’s flagship digital property and primary destination for NFL+, modernizing the experience and introducing a new digital brand identity. The new app is oriented around a highly contextual, timely, targeted hierarchy of content based on the time of week / time of day within the football week, with the Sunday live game experience being the center of the ecosystem.

NFL Pro

A new offering in 2024, I led the creation and launch of NFL Pro, bringing the richness and depth of NFL's Next Gen Stats alongside the vast video library of All-22 video (every play from sideline & endzone view) to a fan-facing experience. This offering connects thousands of linked stats to dynamically-generated video playlists and ultimately provides the most advanced fan-facing football data product the NFL has ever offered.

NFL Ways to Watch

Ways to Watch provides a personalized view of the NFL schedule on NFL.com based on your location and services. Launched at the start of the 2024 season, I led the team that brought this to life, creating a new tool for NFL fans as streaming options and game availability have gotten increasingly fragmented. Users can easily find out how to watch every game and link to any service they might need to watch.


CNN Magic Wall

The CNN Magic Wall is an election data storytelling tool built to power CNN’s live election coverage. The Magic Wall consists of a suite of five apps - each built to help tell specific election stories before, during and after an election.

I led the product strategy & experience design to rebuild and modernize the Magic Wall over 4 years, visualizing data in simple and compelling ways for millions of Americans. Live on air for nearly 100 straight hours, CNN set all-time viewership records for 2020 Election coverage featuring the Magic Wall.

As totally open-ended tool, one of the most powerful features of the Magic Wall on election nights, Collections create dynamic filters on live & historical data, revealing deeper layers of data storytelling live on air.
